Overview
thinkThin® products provide natural and delicious portable nutrition to support the health and well-being of busy, active people who care about what they eat.
Objective
The campaign objective was to increase awareness and Facebook page ‘likes’, in addition to promoting the Sweepstakes Giveaway and generating contest submissions.
Challenge
thinkThin® had seen limited results with un-targeted Facebook advertising in the past, and looked to Formic for guidance in launching, targeting and testing a variety of Facebook advertising tactics for success.
Strategy
The strategy focused on setting-up niche targeting and testing a variety of image ad creative and calls-to action to generate awareness, ‘likes’ and fan interaction. Formic also utilized a combination of Like, and Sponsored Post stories though Facebook’s ad platform to specifically target connections of current thinkThin® fans for more impactful results.
Results
Upon launching thinkProducts’ Facebook campaign, optimizing targeting and testing a variety of ad creative, Formic was able to produce a significant increase in page ‘likes’ and interaction and the following results in two months:
- 44% increase in “likes” from month 1 to month 2
- 40%% increase in Post Interactions from month 1 to month 2
- 17% increase in Post Feedback from month 1 to month 2
- 749 contest submissions were generated in just 1 month
