Kent Lewis, Founder & President

As President of Formic Media, Kent Lewis is responsible for overseeing operations, marketing and strategic partnerships in order to achieve Formic’s mission: to provide affordable but effective search engine marketing (SEM) services to small and local businesses. Also currently President of Anvil Media, Inc., Lewis started his career in SEM in 1996, and has built and managed SEM teams at 3 separate agencies since then. He was also co-founder of emailROI (now eROI) in 2002 and past President and co-founder of SEMpdx, a professional trade association for search engine marketers. Lewis is an adjunct professor at Portland State University, where he teaches eMarketing and SEM workshops. In 2000, Lewis created pdxMindShare, a networking career community for Portland professionals.  He is a member of EO, a global organization for entrepreneurs, and is the recipient of Portland Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 Award.
